APD QMS ISO CERTIFICATION
Quality Management System (QMS) Certification Journey
MMCNZ collaborated with APD to implement a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. The project focused on supporting APD to internally establish effective and sustainable QMS processes in preparation for certification. As a result, APD successfully achieved ISO 9001 certification.

Scope:
The project involved a comprehensive review of APD’s existing systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 requirements. MMCNZ provided support and guidance to build understanding and encourage active involvement in the implementation and establishment of the QMS, which was developed internally by APD with support from their Leadership and Operations Consultant.
Deliverable:
- QMS planning was completed between July and November 2025, during which key procedures were finalised and the Teammate App was set up.
- Implementation occurred from December 2025 to January 2026, with data upload completed, all employees trained, and QMS procedures launched.
- A full internal audit and management review were conducted in February 2026.
- ISO 9001 certification was completed between March and April 2026, including the external Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits.
